TConsult’s event amplification services are overseen by our Creative Director, Kirsty Pitkin. Kirsty holds an MA in Creative Writing and New Media from De Montfort University and took a pioneering role in the use of social media within the public transport industry. She specialises in live blogging events, co-ordinating online resources and encouraging participation from remote conference audiences.
Kirsty also contributes to the Transliteracy Research Group, which examines issues related to cross-platform literacy and creative practice. She spoke about the process of creating online conference spaces at the first Transliteracy conference in Leicester on 9th February 2010. Our recording of her presentation is available below…
