Founder of TConsult, Ross has spent nearly 30 years working in the withholding tax landscape with companies developing tax reclaim software and operating outsource tax reclamation services.

Ross not only sees the big picture but is also incredibly detail oriented. He can make even the most complex issues simple to understand. He has authored eleven books (including two second editions) on various aspects of tax, technology, and regulation in financial services, making him one of the leading authorities in the world of tax.

Ross is a member of several influential industry committees including ISO20022 Securities Evaluation Group (SEG) sub-committees on corporate actions, fund management and proxy voting. Ross was an expert witness to the European Commission FISCO group in 2009 and was a member of the European Commission Tax Barriers Business Advisory Group and edited its final report in 2013. Ross has also been called as an expert witness (for the plaintiff) in one of the recent high–profile tax abuse cases.

Ross has a BSci(Hons) in Materials Technology and Education from the University of Bath.
