Job opportunity: Compliance assistant
We’re looking for a Compliance Assistant to join our growing team. We welcome candidates who are detail-oriented, process-driven and interested in financial services and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- KYC and compliance support
- You will validate and review self-certification forms and Know Your Customer (KYC) identity documents for our clients in line with regulatory requirements.
- You will ensure accurate records are maintained and compliance procedures are followed.
- Documentation management
- You will maintain and organise internal documentation and process records
- You will identify and label personally identifiable information (PII)
- You will administer our data retention and disposal processes
- Task management
- You will manage our internal task board to keep our team of consultants on track
- ISO 27001 support
- You will provide administrative support to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) team to help us maintain our ISO 27001 certification
- You will help us to track and update risk assessments, incident logs, and internal audit actions
- You will assist with internal security awareness initiatives
- General operations
- You will provide administrative and operational support to our consultants
- You will contribute to process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- You will provide administrative assistance for ad hoc projects as needed
Skills and experience
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Familiarity with compliance, KYC, or ISO 27001 standards is desirable but not essential
